58 long-term care residents have died in Alberta’s deadliest COVID-19 outbreak

Deaths and outbreaks at care homes continue to be a problem in Alberta. The hardest-hit facility is CapitalCare Lynnwood. The centre has 276 long-term care beds but as of Thursday has lost 58 residents to COVID-19. Kim Smith spoke with Dr. Daisy Fung to ask her why she believes Lynnwood was hit so hard.
