Alberta to lift some COVID-19 restrictions and reopen gyms, in-person dining Feb. 8

Starting Feb. 8., some of Alberta’s COVID-19 public health measures will be eased on indoor fitness centres, school sports, restaurants and bars. Using hospitalization benchmarks, Premier Jason Kenney said further restrictions may be eased in the coming weeks or months. Julia Wong and Sarah Komadina have team coverage.
