Robinhood, as the story goes, stole from the rich and gave to the poor. But many are claiming the brokerage and popular trading app Robinhood appears to be doing something close to the opposite after the sudden rise of GameStop stock. An anonymous post on Reddit was the catalyst that saw retail investors buy stocks of the video game retailer GameStop, pushing shares up more than one thousand per cent since the beginning of the year.
