Coronavirus: Canada’s ‘best economic policy is a strong health policy,’ says Freeland over questions of GDP loss

Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Thursday during Question Period that she understands the hardships businesses are facing with restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, but stated that “the best economic policy is a strong health policy” when asked about Canada’s shrinking GDP growth.
