Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Thursday during Question Period that she understands the hardships businesses are facing with restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, but stated that “the best economic policy is a strong health policy” when asked about Canada’s shrinking GDP growth.
