China’s foreign ministry on Thursday said a team of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) finished their 14-day quarantine in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and will carry out their investigation into the origins of the novel coronavirus in accordance with “China’s pandemic prevention measures”. The WHO investigators left their quarantine hotel in Wuhan on Thursday to begin field work, two weeks after arriving in the Chinese city where the virus emerged in late 2019.
