Trudeau questioned on cancellation of Keystone XL project, impacts of calls to shut down Enbridge’s Line 5

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded to questions Wednesday regarding the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline project, including an attempt by Michigan to shut down Enbridge’s Line 5, which Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole said would affect thousands of jobs in Ontario. Trudeau said they will continue to “work to ensure energy security, jobs for Canadians and the fight against climate change” with the American government.
