White House special presidential envoy for climate, John Kerry, said on Wednesday that no issue the U.S. has with China will be “traded” for climate initiatives. “Obviously we have serious differences with China,” he said, adding “those issues will never be traded for anything that has to do with climate…but climate is a critical stand-alone issue that we have to deal on.”
