The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down near Fultondale, Ala. just before midnight on Jan. 25. At least 20 people suffered minor injuries, said Mayor Larry Holcomb. The Hampton Inn was one of the buildings damaged, with guest Steve Gambla detailing his experience.
