White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that President Joe Biden has filled another campaign promise with the signing of an executive order to allow transgender people to serve in the military, saying “America’s strength is found in its diversity” and ensuring people that no one will be separated or discharged from the military on the basis of gender identity. This reverses the ban put in place by the former Trump administration.
