When asked how former president Donald Trump’s senate impeachment trial might impact getting a COVID-19 relief package passed, White House economic advisor Brian Deese on Friday responded both can be handled at the same time. He said the nation is facing a “period of multiple crises” and the government will need to act on “multiple fronts” in dealing with issues at hand.
