U.S. President Joe Biden signed various executive orders on Wednesday, just a few hours after being sworn in, as his first official act. He started by signing a national mask mandate requiring masks to be worn on all federal properties and during interstate travel and one for vulnerable communities. Biden plans to sign executive orders including reversing several of former president Donald Trump’s own orders, and the travel ban on visitors from 13 predominantly Muslim countries and rejoining the Paris climate accord.
