U.S. First Lady Melania Trump, in a farewell message published Monday, thanked all U.S. military personnel for their service, saying it’s been the honour of her life to serve as America’s first lady. She asked people to continue wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, and condemned the violence following the riot at U.S. Capitol building, “Be passionate in everything you do, but always remember that violence is never the answer, and will never be justified.”
