Ireland apologizes for cruel history of child deaths at homes for unwed mothers

Ireland’s Prime Minister Micheál Martin and the head of the catholic church in that country formally apologized for the so-called “mother and baby homes”, after a damning report found evidence of rampant infant mortality. Redmond Shannon reports.
