An Ottawa ICU doctor believes paid sick leaves are a stronger tool than lockdowns. In an interview with ‘The West Block’ guest host Abigail Bimman, Dr. Kwadwo Kyeremanteng says many of the COVID-19 patients in his ICU are from marginalized populations and essential workers — who are less likely to get tested if they won’t get paid to be off work.
