When asked about the possibility of banning certain flights due to international COVID-19 outbreaks and new COVID-19 variants, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that the measures and mandatory quarantine for travellers that have been in place since March have been “extraordinarily effective,” but that they are “always open to strengthening them as necessary.”
