Scott Livingstone, Saskatchewan Health Authority CEO, explained Thursday how the province can expand ICU capacity through the repurposing of beds and equipment, as well as reassigning trained staff as needed. Livingstone said he expects to be able to “double” ICU capacity with these measures.
