Coronavirus: Ontario projections show long-term care deaths could reach up to 2,600 deaths by Valentine’s Day

Dr. Adalsteinn (Steini) Brown, co-chair of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table, on Tuesday spoke about the impact the second wave is having on long-term care homes (LTC), stating that in a worst-case scenario, the number of deaths in LTC could surpass 2,600 deaths by Valentine’s Day.
