During the One Planet summit on biodiversity Monday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada would contribute up to $55 million to the United Nations Land Degradation Neutrality Fund “to support sustainable land projects in low- and middle-income countries.” Trudeau added that any future global climate finance contributions from Canada would include funds for biodiversity.
