U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao became the first member of President Donald Trump’s cabinet to resign Thursday following the riot that took place at the Capitol building on Wednesday. There are also reports some cabinet members discussed invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office and other lawmakers have called for removal either through the amendment or by impeachment.
