After a day of violent, pro-Donald Trump riots in Washington D.C. that resulted in the Capitol buildings being stormed, U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Wednesday called those demonstrating “domestic terrorists,” saying that they “desecrated” the house of U.S. democracy.
