U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday tweeted a video response addressing the violent pro-Trump mob which had stormed the Capitol buildings in Washington, D.C., saying to “go home in peace” — after repeating false claims of election fraud and how the 2020 presidential election was “stolen” from him. “I love you” the President of the United States told members of the angry mob that stormed the seat of the U.S. legislature.
