Coronavirus: Trump demands U.S. Congress amend COVID-19 stimulus bill

U.S. President Donald Trump took aim at the recent COVID-19 stimulus bill passed by Congress on Monday, calling on lawmakers to amend the bill to provide more than $600 in support to Americans and “immediately get rid of wasteful and unnecessary items” and send him a “suitable bill.” This could be one of the last bills signed by the outgoing president before president-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated in late January.
