In a heartwarming address to children on Monday, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang said “the magic of Christmas” protects Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, the elves and the reindeer from COVID-19. Strang urged children to wash their hands before putting out Santa’s milk and cookies, and the reindeers’ carrots.
