Health Canada approves gene therapy to treat spinal muscular atrophy

Health Canada has approved the gene therapy Zolgensma that’s used to treat children with a rare degenerative neuromuscular disease. As Tracy Nagai reports, the news is providing a glimmer of hope for an Alberta family.
