While sharing Wednesday’s COVID-19 case numbers, chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said the number of Albertans who have died of COVID-19 since the pandemic began less than 10 months ago is more than all of the influenza deaths over the past 10 years in the province. She also talked about the Butterdome at the University of Alberta being prepared for potential hospital overflow.
