‘It’s monumental’: Dr. Bonnie Henry after first person receives COVID-19 vaccine in B.C.

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry was present when the first B.C. COVID-19 vaccine was administered to Nisha Yunus, a 64-year-old residential care aide. Henry said witnessing the moment “brings a spark of light and joy” and is “turning the tide on this pandemic.”
