Former U.S. vice-president Al Gore in an interview on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday said he hopes once the Electoral College cast their votes on Monday, which is expected to reaffirm Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential win, more Republican members will acknowledge the victory. Gore also added he does not regret his own concession in 2000, even as President Donald Trump continues to fight the 2020 results after the Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit to overturn the results that was backed by Trump.
