British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday said the two parties were still at an impasse in Brexit talks and they could miss an end-of-the-month deadline. Johnson said there is a deal to be done and they’ll continue to try to find one. Von der Leyen added they believe at this point they need to “go the extra mile” to come to a negotiation.
