N.B. unions unhappy over Higgs’ wage-freeze pitch

Union leaders in New Brunswick are calling out Premier Blaine Higgs for his plan to use a wage-freeze for non-unionized public sector workers as a template in bargaining negotiations. The CUPE director says the proposal is insulting to those working on the front lines of the pandemic. Silas Brown has the story.
