O’Toole, Freeland spar regarding Canada’s foreign policy towards China

Leader of the official opposition Erin O’Toole started Thursday’s Question Period in the House of Commons with a pointed exchange with Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland regarding the government’s policy towards China, in light of the 2-year anniversary of the detention of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig.
