O’Toole attacks China’s human rights record as ‘2 Michaels’ remain in Chinese detention

Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole criticized China’s human rights record, citing Uyghurs’ minority treatment in concentration camps on the second anniversary of the “illegal abduction” of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig in China. He called on the Liberal government to adopt a tougher policy towards China that “doesn’t act like a partner.”
