U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs Thomas McCaffery on Wednesday said the Department of Defense’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution prioritization will be consistent with guidance provided by the Centres for Disease Control (CDC). The department is also expected to receive its first allotment of COVID-19 vaccines in “the coming days,” said McCaffery.
