The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s commissioner Stephen Hahn in an interview with Reuters on Friday said it was realistic that 20 million people in the country could be vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine by the end of the year. While a vaccine has not been approved of in the U.S. yet, he said he was hopeful and they were moving quickly and safely to have a vaccine approved, but declined to give a specific timeline.
