Holiday plans for family gatherings are being dashed by Quebec Premier François Legault. Despite setting a Dec. 11 deadline, Legault put a stop to plans to allow two gatherings over a four-day period. As Tim Sargeant reports, the announcement comes as the number of daily cases of COVID-19 continues to rise, and hospitalizations remain above the 700-patient mark.
