Files released to Global News by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service have linked coronavirus misinformation and disinformation campaigns in Canada to Russia, China and Iran. As David Akin reports, CSIS says the countries have spread falsehoods about the virus and conspiracy theories with the objective of increased mistrust and suspicion of western governments and public health authorities.
