Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday spoke about the recent announcement of over $1.5 billion aimed at accelerating the end to boil-water advisories in Indigenous communities, stressing there can’t be a fair country if everyone doesn’t have access to clean drinking water. He also said COVID-19 has exacerbated the housing crisis and are working to fix the issue, but said it will take time and partnership with Indigenous communities.
