Aerial footage shows damage caused by Arecibo radio telescope collapse

The massive telescope at Puerto Rico’s Arecibo Observatory that had been deteriorating since August collapsed on Tuesday after 57 years of astronomical discoveries. No injuries were reported in the collapse but experts say repairs would be too dangerous and the structure would have to be demolished.
