Two people were sent to hospital following a two-vehicle crash east of Peterborough on Monday evening.
Around 6:30 p.m. emergency crews were called to the scene on Hwy.7 west of Hwy 28 in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township.
A car and a minivan both ended up in the south ditch.
Township firefighters had to remove a driver from one of the vehicles.
Peterborough County OPP on scene reported minor injuries to both people who were taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre by paramedics.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
