Coronavirus: Canada has recovered nearly 80% of jobs lost in pandemic, Freeland says

During Canada’s economic update delivered by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland on Monday in the House of Commons, Freeland said the country has recovered almost 80 per cent of jobs lost during the pandemic – but there is still more work to do. She compared this figure to the United States’ number – which she said was just over half.
