Coronavirus: Toronto reports 643 new COVID-19 cases, highest single-day increase

Toronto’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Eileen de Villa reported 643 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, the highest single-day increase. Dr. de Villa said the case counts are “concerning,” but that the numbers are “quite variable from day to day.”
