The Peterborough Petes are made up of players from across the province, or in some cases, their home may be even farther away.
The players are taken in by billet families at the start of every OHL season.
Their job is to provide the players a room and meals, but any billet parent will tell you it’s about much more than that.
The player becomes a part of their family, and the experience is more that they ever could have imagined.
