British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Wednesday that the U.K. would not ask for more time to negotiate a post-Brexit trade deal with the European Union, despite significant differences remaining between the two parties. Johnson also said his government was making tough decisions to try and help the economy bounce back from the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
