Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott said on Wednesday that they were disappointed in the auditor general’s report into the government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, saying it was a “mischaracterization” of its response. She went on to tout the government’s testing capacity, its decision to recently move Toronto and Peel Region into lockdown and being the second province in the country to declare it a public health emergency.
