Canada’s Procurement Minister Anita Anand on Tuesday detailed what she called the third phase of the vaccine distribution process, saying the federal government had contracts signed for needles for vaccines, and gauze and bandages used after injection, as well as sharps containers for the needles to go into after use. She said it would ensure Canada is ready to provide vaccines once one is viable for use.
