Soldiers of the Princess Louise Fusiliers in Halifax are some of the first in Canada to undergo new “pioneer” training that’s being developed in Nova Scotia for use across the country. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, that training involved a good deal of heavy lifting on a cold day, and a few adaptations due to COVID-19.
