U.S. election: Michigan lawmakers say election laws will be followed after meeting with Trump

Lawmakers from Michigan said on Friday that the election laws would be followed and award the state’s electors to the winner of the popular vote, following a controversial meeting with President Donald Trump. They said there were not made aware of any information that would change the outcome of the election.
