As cases surge across the nation, Mercedes Stephenson speaks to former Health Minister Dr. Jane Philpott about the government’s response to COVID-19. Dr. Philpott says Canada needs to contain the spread before it reaches “worst case scenarios.” Also on The West Block is Nunavut Premier Joe Savikataaq. The territory saw its largest COVID-19 outbreak and made the choice to lockdown for two weeks. Premier Savikataaq urges Canadians, “if you don’t have to travel, please don’t travel to another community.”
