Manitoba’s chief public health officer Dr. Brent Roussin said on Friday the province is at a “critical juncture” amid the second wave of COVID-19, and that hospitals are reaching capacity. He added that people should only leave home for essential reasons, encouraged shopping online or locally, and asked employers to support their employees to work from home “as much as possible.”
