Work to improve safety on a notorious stretch of Highway 97A is moving ahead, but not soon enough for some. The province says it recently awarded a contract to install median barriers south of Armstrong. However, the family of a local dance teacher who was killed in a crash almost two years ago believe the upgrades should not have taken this long.
