An independent Montreal-made music video has defeated Beyonce to win a prestigious award overseas. Artist Sheenah Ko teamed up with a dozen dancers and a Calgary-based choreographer to create a film that took down pop royalty at the 2020 UK Music Video Awards. As Global’s Dan Spector reports, it was a massive victory for all involved.
